Meet Christina Baity, LMHCA
Hi, I’m Christina Baity, the therapist behind Eclectic Therapy Services, PLLC. I’m truly glad you’re here. I believe therapy should feel like a gentle exhale—a space where you can slow down, explore your story, and feel supported as you grow. My approach is warm, grounded, and deeply personalized, honoring your experiences, identity, and strengths.
My Professional Journey
I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, and I bring 15+ years of experience working in a state psychiatric hospital, supporting individuals facing chronic and severe mental health conditions.
My work in that setting shaped me profoundly. It taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of creating a space where people feel safe enough to be fully human—messy parts, tender parts, strong parts, all of it.
Over the years, I’ve supported clients struggling with:
Anxiety & overwhelm
Depression & mood changes
Trauma & PTSD
Grief & loss
Relationship struggles
Identity shifts
Life transitions
Chronic mental health challenges
No matter what someone is facing, I meet them with compassion, curiosity, and genuine respect.
A Bit About Me as a Human—Not Just a Therapist
Before I was a therapist, I was a single mom putting myself through school, working hard, growing, and rebuilding—often all at once. That experience taught me resilience, courage, flexibility, and the reality of what it feels like to carry too much and keep going anyway.
It’s one of the many reasons I show up as a therapist with understanding, encouragement, and zero judgment. I know life can be heavy. I also know how much strength lives inside people who don’t always see it in themselves.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me enjoying time with my family, spending quiet moments with animals (I’ve always had a soft spot for them), appreciating nature, or recharging with small joys like music, cozy spaces, or a good cup of coffee.
My Approach to Therapy
My therapeutic style is eclectic, meaning I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities depending on what best fits you.
You’re not one-size-fits-all, and your therapy shouldn’t be either.
In sessions, you can expect:
Warm, steady support
A non-judgmental environment
Honest, respectful conversations
Trauma-informed care
Room to explore at your own pace
Collaboration—we’re a team
My goal is to create a space where you can feel safe enough to grow and empowered enough to move forward.
Why I Do This Work
I believe deeply in the resilience of the human spirit.
I believe people deserve to be heard, supported, and understood.
And I believe healing—no matter how small or subtle—changes lives.
Supporting others through their struggles, transitions, and healing journeys is not just my profession.
It is my calling.
